EXTENSIVE DUE DILIGENCE


Once managers are selected and funds are invested in a portfolio, members of the Beringer Group team work diligently to monitor the managers’ performance and internal activities. We communicate with various managers on a weekly basis via email and telephone to discuss our clients’ portfolios. Various tools are used to compare and contrast performance with appropriate index returns as well as peer group returns. We schedule on-site visits at least annually with the managers to get a real feel for the internal operations of each firm. If a manager becomes questionable, he/she is put on our Watch List where they undergo intense scrutiny. Once the determination is made that the manager is no longer appropriate, a new manager is selected as a replacement.
